Vom 01. bis 06. Juli findet in der Europäischen Akademie Otzenhausen (Saarland) die internationale Preisträgerbegegnung zum Motto der aktuellen Wettbewerbsrunde „YOUrope – es geht um dich!“ statt. Daran werden rund 20 Jugendliche aus Deutschland, Griechenland, Kroatien, Polen, Tschechien und der Slowakei teilnehmen.
Dieser Preis gehört zu den wertvollsten Preisen auf Bundesebene. Diese Jugendbegegnungen erstrecken sich über eine ganze Woche. Neben Spaß und Entspannung stehen gemeinsames Erleben und Lernen im Mittelpunkt. Die Teilnehmenden haben so die Gelegenheit, Europa und seine kulturelle Vielfalt hautnah zu (er)leben. Darüber hinaus steht eine Exkursion zum Keltischen Ringwall auf dem Programm.
Event Details
Eight German prize winners of the European Competition get the chance to meet up with their international counterparts: one of the European Youth Gatherings for this years’ awardees will take place from the 1st to the 6th of July at the European Academy Otzenhausen (Saarland). About 20 young people from Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Poland and Slovakia will take part to the event „YOUrope – it’s about you!“.
This prize is considered as one of the most valuable prize at national level. The Youth Exchange will last for an entire week, and will offer young people not only a lot of fun and relaxation, but also an occasion for learning and living together. Participants will have moreover the chance to experience more closely Europe and its cultural diversity. The week will be once again based on the Motto of the current European Competition „YOUrope – it’s about you!“. An excursion to the Celtic Circle is also planned.
